Eric Johnson still takes Jessica Simpson's breath away.
Case in point? The former NFL player, who recently celebrated turning 44, received a special shoutout from his wife on social media in honor of the occasion. The "Public Affair" singer—who shares kids Maxwell, 11, Ace, 10, and Birdie, 4, with Eric—shared a series of family photos to Instagram.
"Eric turned 44 on Sept 15 and his family gave him all the love cells we have to celebrate his life," Jessica, 43, wrote alongside her Sept. 19 post. "My heart is so taken with this Man, I could hardly call it my own….We love youuuu."
The clothing designer also added a note about her husband of nine years being MIA from the Internet, writing, "(he ain't an Instagram guy, but I always think the more good wishes the better)."
And not only was Eric on the receiving end of well wishes from followers and fans, but Jessica's sister Ashlee Simpson also chimed in to gush over her brother-in-law.
"We love you so very much EJ best uncle and brother," the 38-year-old commented. "We all love your fun creative, magnetic energy!"
This isn't the first time, of course, that Jessica has hinted at how much she wants to love Eric forever. In fact, back in March, the Dukes of Hazzard star shared a PDA-filled glimpse at a recent getaway spent with her "lover."
