These Mr. Americanas met the Heartbreak Prince.
It's been a long time coming but Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce finally detailed their recent introduction to Prince William, along with his children Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, 9, during Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert in London June 21.
"We met royalty guys, there was royalty at the show," Travis gushed during the June 26 New Heights podcast. "I was lucky enough I got there early and got to meet Prince William. How about that? Your Royal Highness. He was the coolest motherf--king dude."
And Jason, who admitted he had said "f--k royalty" in a previous New Heights episode, also had to agree.
"He was awesome," the former Philadelphia Eagles center added. "He was a good dude."
Travis went on to describe the unforgettable experience of meeting William—who also shares Prince Louis, 6, with Kate Middleton.
"He was there with little George and Charlotte," the 34-year-old continued. "They were an absolute delight to meet. Wasn't sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand, ‘Sup dude.'"
Of course, Jason—who shares daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 15 months with wife —noted that the NFL stars were prepped with how to properly greet the royals.
"We did get warning," Jason added. "They said because we weren't at an official royal event, we didn't need to bow or curtsy. If it would've been an official meeting of royalty event, then it would've been that. But I did still address him as ‘Your Royal Highness.' I've never felt emasculated, and I did. That was the closest I'd ever been."
Travis concurred, "I've never seen you give someone that much respect—you put your beer like ten feet away from you."
Overall, the Super Bowl champs couldn't believe the experience they'd had at Taylor's recent show, especially meeting the younger prince and princess.
"Prince William was fantastic, but the highlight was Princess Charlotte," Jason shared. "She was so f--king adorable. I cannot express how—I don't know maybe it's because I have three girls now—she had fire to her, she was asking questions. That was the most electric part."
Travis also couldn't get over how vocal and kind the younger royals were during their meet and greet.
"If anyone is doing it right, Prince William is doing it right," the Kansas City Chiefs star continued. "Thank you, Your Royal Highness, it was awesome meeting you. And Charlotte and George."
And while the Kelce brothers got to meet literal royalty during their trip across the pond, Jason noted that the best part was still seeing Taylor perform.
"I've never cried at a f--king concert," Jason admitted. "And I was tearing up."
Jason may have had his first Eras Tour experience this month, but plenty of other celebs have made their way into the audience or—in Travis' case—onto the stage. Keep reading for every star who has attended a show so far.
