In April, seven months after the death of Jimmy Buffett, some of music’s biggest names will gather to honor his memory and spirit.
The aptly named Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett will commandeer the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles April 11 with an overstuffed marquee of artists: Paul McCartney, the Eagles, Jon Bon Jovi, Zac Brown, Jackson Browne, Brandi Carlile, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Scotty Emerick, Jack Johnson, Caroline Jones, Mac McAnally, Jake Owen, Pitbull, Jake Shimabukuro, The Coral Reefer Band and additional special guests.
Tickets for the show, presented by Live Nation-Hewitt Silva, will go on sale at 1 p.m. ET Friday via ticketmaster.com.
American Express cardholders have access to a presale from 10 a.m. Wednesday through 10 p.m. Thursday. Additional presales will also be available during this period (check ticketmaster.com for details).

Buffett died Sept. 1 after a four-year battle with Merkel cell skin cancer. He was 76.
In the course of his 50-year-career Buffett cultivated a devout army of fans who called themselves ParrotHeads, released some of the most treasured songs in current music history (“Margaritaville,” “Come Monday,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere”), authored several books and built a brand that encompassed restaurants, hotels, cruise lines and a Broadway show.
His last album, “Equal Strain on All Parts,” was released posthumously in November and features collaborations with McCartney, Emmylou Harris and Angélique Kidjo.
